I ordered this light out of boredom.
The least I need is another EDC or any
other light for that matter.
I wonder how many real lumens I can expect from the Nichia.

Tint, color temp and CRI are all excellent with the Nichia.
Lumens… not so much. I forget how many lumens it produces. My guess is maybe a bit over 1000. Definitely a lot less than SST-20 or XPL HI.
I swapped the Nichias out of my EDC18, because I wasn’t satisfied with the low output.
I have a RovyVon Angel Eyes that is advertised 2000 lumens with 3 Crees.
1200 lumens with the Nichias. I have the Nichias. Great for EDC. Flat, Fits in my back pocket.
If this one is advertised with 2800 lumens, I expect something like 1500 from this one.
Will I be disappointed?.

It should be close to SST-20 (1500ish) or a little more, as most test data I’ve seen shows 4000k 219c produces marginally more lumens than SST-20 at the same current. However the beam is floodier due to the larger LEDs.
I do not have a good way of testing output but my 219c EDC18 seems brighter than my SST-20 FW3A.
