Started EDC with 18650 then receive the ThruNite deal for $5.00 and then came by some rechargables AAA’s.
That has been an ^ improvement!
So, now have given away 2 26650’s one Shadow Pro and other a Popas. Still have 2 SolarForce’s one L2P and the other L2m.
if you are giving them away i will take both of the solarforce lights
TadpolePilot,
I agree... The small thrunites are very easy to carry and usually offer up enough light for most situations. I'll go through phases where I won't carry the 18650's, but only the smaller AA's or AAA's (usually in the summer). However in this time of year I find myself switching back to a compact 18650.
Gotta have a little variety for edc on rotation :)
I keep looking at AA/AAA stainless steel tube lights. I got the t10/ti deal for my mum for Christmas this year and they impressed me, but for now I’m building up an 18650 edc, but a stainless AA xpg host maybe on the cards for an xp-g2/nichea 219 for pocket duty, I feel that if I can find an AA 2a driver and run eneloops, I may have a good series of gifts sorted out for relatives/friends.
