Efest, How annoying can they be!!

Once I inquired about some 18350 batteries from Efest,

and since then they keep sending me Spam mails........

1. who else has this problem?

I keep asking them to delete me from their mailing list!

but they don`t!

2. what else can I do about this?

What email service do you have?
Gmail has convenient filters that allow you to specify mail that should be deleted before you even see it or send it to a junk folder.

Its gmail.
dont know how to delete before its in my inbox

Open one of emails from them, above emails title there are buttons in this order (from left to right): Back to inbox, Archive, Report spam, Delete etc… click Report spam and gmail will automatically move all emails from that sender to Spam folder…

okay, but I dont want them in Spam either.. just a complete destruction ;)

Open an email, Click the “More” button (up there where you find the delete button), Select “filter messages like these”. It will create a basic filter for all emails from that sender, you can fill in some extra fields if you ever want to narrow the focus of a filter. Click “Create filter with this search »” and you’ll find the option for complete destruction.

Do not pass Go, Do not collect $200, Go straight to jail  Hell.

’oogle “free email” and create a new email for each new seller you have to give email to — and keep track.
Or use a site like sneakemail.com, which has an annual fee, but makes this really easy to do.
Forward that email to wherever you want to read the stuff — the people sending mail to it won’t see where it goes.
When you start getting spammed at that address you know which company sold (or failed to protect) your information
Cancel that single email address at that point so anything spammed at it fails thereafter.

Interesting!!

Anybody else get spammed by Efest?

I use a several Burner AOL email accounts for most all my online activities. It makes it easy to track the email sellers and spam senders. I just keep a note in my phone of the accounts and passwords as I go. Pretty simple. Not to mention safe.

TOTALLY independent of my financial email addresses. Not to mention their passwords are a full sentence. Kinda a PIA to put in for Wallbuys and such. lol

Not Efest (I did not have any business with them) but Tmart and MyLED, man they are annoying, 2 emails per day, at least, every day except maybe at weekend :Sp

unsubscribe.

Oh, I just received yet another email.

The 7th time I'm asking them to delete me from their spam list!!

Now from Sandy..

Well, me too, but not that often…maybe once a month or so…they have some interesting industrial stuff too
Amazon spam is quite annoying btw

Do you use gmail?

Type "from:(@efest.com)" or whatever @address.com they use into the search bar then click the "more" button and select "Create filter".

Here I am!

and they always cycle use a different girl name in the email …. shikata ga nai :weary:

Complaining about spam is like complaining about taxes.
They’re inevitable.

Gmail’s spam filters are really good. I never see real spam. And spammy junk like efest I just send to hell with a filter.

Thanks!

Don't underestimate the power of an internet community like blf.

Sometimes posting things online will help a lot...take those doa/problems of certain vendors for instance.. they usually follow upfairly quickly once it's spread online ;) l

Try registering to the Ashampoo for any software/querry and then come comment

Best web-based freemail filtering I’ve found. I still have Yahoo and Hotmail accounts which I start new business with, and if they don’t get spammed/phished/hacked I switch them over to my primary Gmail later on. If I see new spam on those other accounts I know where it came from as I rotate among those for the new business which makes the source obvious.
