I’m wondering if the emitter can be swapped in a Malkoff MDC, has anyone ever done this?
MDC’s are made pretty much the same way as M61/M31/M91 modules and, as per Gene’s own response, there is no way to replace LED without destroying some other parts (like reflector which is epoxied)… I’d stay away from the idea, honestly…
I realize these heads can be swapped with other E-sized heads, so I think I will abandon the idea of getting the MDC. Thanks!
