Emsiar/Noctigon - How good are the RGB buttons?

I don’t care for the flashing rainbow aesthetic–I don’t have RGB on my PC either. My primary use would be to choose single colors that would hopefully match the aux emitters. Do they match the Aux lights well?

I’m assuming they don’t do white well as most RGB lights don’t. Can they produce orange, amber, and yellow well?

Pretty off-topic, but I have a couple of RGB mechanical keyboards.
In theory, I could have each key a different color, but I have them all set as purple. :purple_heart:
I also have internal PC components that are RGB, but I have those lights disabled.

My keyboard is RGB too but it’s just set to Cyan. The computer itself is just an unassuming black box. (Fractal Design - Define S, no window version). I guess you could call it a sleeper build since inside there is a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 4080 Super and 32GB DDR5

Nice! :video_game:

The “dot” button type is the best for RGB, the mix looks quite good in the middle.

If you want to use the ring or white type choose single color aux.

Another difference is that only the single color button aux is on while the main emitter is on, RGB button is off while the main emitter is on.

I personally prefer red aux, they are the least disturbing in the dark.

These RGB mixed colors look good only when the aux is set to high brightness. On low brightness setting the blue and green parts of the RGB are much more brighter than the red part.

Amber single color aux is amber even on low brightness.

@AccurateJazz Thanks! Sounds like I will largely want to stick with single color button lights because I want the flexibility to swap between button styles. Also, the lack of good low mode for RGB is pretty unfortunate

And the pink goes all lavendery on low…
