Manufacturer specified SST40 version is temperature controlled:

Stepdown from 7A to 4A when temperature reaches @±60°C. Once temp drops under @±50°C, output will increase to 7A. (To be verified).

MARCH XHP50.2 - Turbo Activated.

Full Runtime graph to be presented at a later date.

Stepdown to 67.3% after C8 reaches 50°C (53°C exterior). Output increased to 80% after C8 is forced to cool down to 40°C (±42°C exterior).

Fluctuation between 37-73s period was caused by my IR thermometer measurement. Please ignore.

Test was aborted at 139s as value is almost constant.

Hi,
just now I get my March C8 XHP 35 HI (21700) a very well manufactured Flashlight, with a clear, beautiful CW.
But there is a problem, the batterytube has a diameter of 21,6mm, which is very tight, so my Sofirn and LiitoKala batteries do not fit.
Does anyone have an idea which batteries could fit?

The XHP35 boost driver does not have the 3 stars on the driver, thus no mode groups. Only the 7135 drivers have the 3 extra mode groups, like the XP-L HI and XM-L2 versions.
