Do you agree that it’s an awesome light freeme?

The only way to make it better is to add a 2 amp usb charger circuit.

“Better” if you don’t want it for it’s small size . Adding a charger circuit will need sone space .
But still a great idea .

That’s not what I was expecting. Do you have a picture of the light inside it?

Tiny 26650 III looks really like SRK miniature on table. Neutral tint looks pretty good, I would say that it is even better than those end 2016/ 2017 XHP70 NW flashlights. Brightness is excellent for its size without doubts. UI simple and doesn't require much memory work. I could understand why people are crazy it now. I bought black version just to be safe, but i regretted it now as i really curious how it looks in gray.
Victorinox 4.0523.32

Was a tight fit at the beginning but is getting better now.

Thanks for the pic. It looks hard to remove. I bet I can do a U shaped cut on each side to match the one on the front so I can grab it with 2 fingers and pull it out.

Interesting light. But as the person who knows very little about soldering drivers and other electronic repairing, looks like I should stay away.

Why? Are you worried about the button bending if pressed too hard? It can be reinforced without soldering.

Thats a handsome pouch right there.
I also thought about doing this cuts but after leaving the light in the holster for couple of days it’s easier to pull it out now.
But beware: don’t order the Victorinox 4.0523.3 (note the missing “2” at the end) - this holster is too small!

Mike, you could also stuff that pouch full of damp paper towels, and put it in a ziplock bag for an hour or so. Wrap some painter’s tape around the flashlight to make it slightly larger. Stick it in the pouch and let it dry.

Thanks for the suggestion. I got the holster last weekend and I’ll wait for some more days if it gets loose enough. If not I might try your proposal.

These also fit Simon’s Convoy holster fairly well

This looks like his holster for the S2+ and S3, not for the C8, right?
Looks good too.
Is it the “high quality nylon holster for Convoy S2+/S3 flashlight”?
