Looks like a nice charger maybe a bit steap $ wise compared to opus that has 2A charge rate and 1A discharge rate. But if it preforms well, might be worth it. Looks like a beast in your hand.
Did you try it out already? How s the cooling? Does the ventilator run all the time or just when it reaches a certain temp?
I was just thinking today how cool it would be if we could run a discharge test while using the USB output to charge a phone or something. kinda recycling the energy that now just goes up in heat. I guess that’s not possible with any common units on the market now.

If only they would have made it broader so 4 26650 cells could fit and a unique selling point would have been created, it already is big so why not take it to a next level?
How is the power bank function?
- In my opinion, C4 is competing to Littokala Lii-500 rather than OPUS.
- Just like Lii-500, C4 does not use active cooling fan. I prefer it that way because I can install a 180mm low rpm usb fan under it. It has much higher airflow and totally silence.
- Everyone is hoping for that but i am sure the circuitry will be complicated and expensive.
- HKJ should get one soon.
- Agree, ability to charge 4pcs of 26650 will be the latest trend of Li-ION charger. XTAR Dragon Plus is a good example.
- With 4x18650, C4 is able to output 1.78A with dummy load. Whereas Lii500, i was only able to get about 1.52A with same setup. As for in-depth test, I will the to the experts.
I have one on the way 
, man it looks huge even compared to Opus, but cooling should be easier with that size and so many cooling vents.
Recently got 30+ laptop cells and the ability to measure resistance with C4 will help me a lot to eliminate some of them…

Hi ZF, I wanna see what is under its hood last night. Despite removing all the four screws for casing, i did not manage to dismantle the casing... failed (noob). I tried to pry open with my small screw driver but it does not even budge a little. 
This made me wonder if the charger is sealed along the edge? Any tips?
Is there a screw under the label?
HKJ can take a couple of months to test a charger as he has a lot of devices to test, So it`s best to get it to him as soon as possible.

This is no label on the underside, just six rubber pads. Out of the six rubber pads, only four of them (four corners) are threaded for screws.

It shows 4.22V but actual cell voltage reading is slightly lower. Anyway, Nitecore chargers are rated as 4.2V +/- 1%. Same thing can happen to Lii-500 too.
