I’m not sure if it’s alright to be discussing another flashlight SP32A (but it seems similar to the Thorfire TK18 in features).

The SP32A has an older batch and new batch. The older batch (purchased around Feb-Mar 2018 or earlier) had a slow-ramping, around 7-8 seconds.
The new batch (April 2018 onwards?), around 3.5-4 seconds (beam0’s SP32A appears to be from the newer batch, with quicker improved ramping).

As shown in the video below:

My guess is the current Thorfire TK18 is similar to the older SP32A with regards to ramping time… hoping Thorfire will release an updated version with faster ramping next time?

I got the kit, it’s a nice light, but still got the light-only as backordered. Just wondering if anyone has any news about when it’ll be available.

Nice price, so I’m not inclined to cancel the order or anything.

Nope, not yet, just did what you did, only they nicked me an extra buk for shipping this time.

Didn’t know the code was still good, else I would’ve done that long ago.

Me? Canceled the light-only and ordered the kit, like you did. Just delivered at work, going in Monday to get it.

It is taking way too long. Perhaps you want to consider changing your order to complete set instead? Dump the charger and battery on eBay (or local market) later if you don't need them?

Nah, the battery’s pretty good, and you can always keep the charger in your bag or something for “emergency” recharges.

Any time I get a cell, I run it through an analyser and at least check the mAH. If it’s even close, it’s good.

And these cells are pretty good.
