Lax Ammunition has the Blackhawk! 3.5-10x50 on closeout for $189.95 plus $12.50 shipping. If they sell out SWFA.com has them for a higher price($240) and also has the 3-9x40($220).
Probably never heard of them, they were exclusive to Cabela’s, they are made by Weaver and are the same scope as the Weaver Tactical and Weaver Grand Slam sold by Midway USA. At their normal prices they are considered excellent buys and best in their class/price range. Scopes are 100% made in Japan and glass is made by Light Optical in Japan. Have read reviews saying the glass is equal to Leupold Mark 4 in quality. Not going to debate that but they are a steal for $200. Already have one and can vouch for the quality. Original price on the 3.5-10 was $500, 3-9x40 was $450.
I have a real Weaver Tactical 3-10x40 I won in a friendly shooting competition (not a real comp, a bet we had) a couple years ago at the local 100m rifle range. Great scope, far more than the .22 I have it on need’s but I use a EOTech on my carbine and dont like magnification for how I shoot it.
Just posting to concur with Southland, I dont know about the Blackhawk but assuming it’s a true clone made in the same facility this is a great scope and like me mentions it’s the best quality glass I’ve ever shot in my life.
Funny story, I actually used it to attempt to see the asteroid the other day, didnt work but still had fun lol.
