It took a flashlight part from China to United States 13 calendar days.
A flashlight from the West Coast United States, using UPS SmartPost( Need to change that nume). It’s supposed to be here Thursday the 27th of march. The 13th of March is when it started its journey. If that is the correct arrival date that’ll be 2 weeks.
I could have drove from the east coast to the west coast twice before that flashlight gets here.
Anybody have experience with UPS smart post ?
it’s my first and absolutely last time using it. Actually I didn’t choose to use it the merchant did.
USPS Priority Mail would be here 4 days absolute maximum.
I don’t remember having a poor experience with UPS SmartPost.
I have had trouble mostly with UPS (and sometimes other delivery services) with drivers not being able to find my house.
There are two different ways to get to my house, and one of them is extremely dangerous.
GPS tells the drivers to go the dangerous way, and many drivers claim that the package is “undeliverable”.
So I write my address like this…
“123 Fake Street via Rattlesnake Road”
…but I sometimes have to call the delivery service and tell them that the driver HAS TO go down Rattlesnake Road (because the drivers aren’t paid to read and use their brain.)
I forgot to mention one business day weather delay. So if it gets here Friday that’ll be 13 days , calendar days . That would be equal to the delivery time of the package from China.
You’re absolutely right. That’s why I requested with this Merchant and all others if possible to use USPS Priority Mail only. I rather spend two three four five more dollars and have it get here in a timely fashion.
