DayLighter you already have an L4 and lots of C8's right? Do you know if we can put a C8 bezel on this L4? Is it a perfect fit? I really want to give my L4 the "special treatment".

I just had to do it. I have a T6-4C version on the way. I have several 3C and 5B1 lights. I need to see what the in between looks like.

Thank you both, DayLighter and Texas Toasted. Now the questions is where to get the cheapest C8 with a stainless steel head to put on this nice Convoy L4.
I found this on AliExpress for $16.50 do you think this is a good deal, just so I can swap the heads, and I guess at the same time, get a C8?

P.S. I'm now wondering if I made the right choice going with the XM-L2 U2 1A tint. Maybe I should have went with the T6-4C tint

Is that bezel stainless steel, or polished aluminum? I know with the TrustFire it's stainless steel, but not sure about it on this UltraFire, as I don't see anything saying stainless steel. If it is stainless steel, and HA-III then that looks perfect. Can anyone verify this is stainless steel bezel on the UltraFire?

Double Edit: Ok, just realized it's a plastic reflector and Q5 led in the UltraFire C8. Looks like I will just order the Trustfire C8 with stainless steel head off AliExpress, as it comes with an aluminum reflector, XM-L T6, also HA-III and a superior "7.5A" driver, lol. To me it's well worth paying the extra $3, as I can recycle these into my other lights.
So it looks like the Trustfire C8 it is! Time to take my L4 to the next level!

I just checked my order and it only shows the batteries I ordered with the L4 flashlight, no trace of the item I ordered at all. Is this happening to others too? Total amount is correct tho.

That FT C8 is true SS, outstanding C8 host, great price, if you like the big SS heads (I do). I built a couple up already, gifted, have one more host waiting... The reflector makes a nice thrower as well, little better than XML C8 reflectors.
Didn't try swapping bezels to an L4 - my guess it won't fit - nothing is made "interchangeable" anymore.
Update: tried it (FT SS C8 bezel on a L4). Threads match - it can screw on, but the SS bezel can't screw all the way to cover the bottom o-ring. Looks like more threads on the L4 than the SS head C8. Also putting the L4 bezel on the SS C8, it tightened down but the glass and reflector is loose -- expected because not enough threads on the C8 head.
So should I get the UltraFire C8 or the TrustFire C8? I just want to swap the stainless steel head with my Convoy L4, that's all, so it looks sexy! I figure the Trustfire C8 would be better (aluminum reflector, XML, better driver), as I have no plans to mod it (not anytime soon, anyways), just throw the L4 head on it! I'm not really a fan of the C8 in general, just want the SS bezel, lol.
Read update above... Could try removing the o-ring above the glass from the L4, so it can thread further down - might work -- no time late for work now.
Wow, you just killed my libido posting that update. So my Stainless Steel ConFoy L4 bezel is no longer a possibilty! I'm hurting inside! And remember, early is on-time, on-time is late :)
Ummm, actually, it's not that bad to me, not perfect, but darn close. I'm thinking of doing it - just lube the threading to water seal it up. I use Nyogel. If not that route, may remove the glass o-ring whcih will let itthread lower, I'm thinking. Also, I have an AR lens in my L4, so not sure if that made a difference. It's actually a miracle the threads matched!
Whew! Now you got my blood flowing! I had just ordered a AR lens from RMM too for the L4. You have given me hope. Screw it, I'm just gonna go for it and order the SS TrustFire C8 and hopefully the threads match perfectly with the L4! If not, I will just stash away that C8, and give it away for my 500th post giveaway!
