You should post on Craigslit.org but it will be VERY difficult to hire anyone from the San Francisco region if you are from out of state or especially if you from another country. Unless you are local, you won’t realize how high the salaries and cost of living is here. Nowadays, you are living in poverty if you earn under $180k salary here. You can’t afford to buy a house unless you earn over $300k salary. The global money supply is sucked into this one little metropolitan area. The SF metropolitan area has a GDP larger than 90% of the countries around the world.

We have half of the team located in SF. Nowadays it is easy to find someone from IT or great experience with paper work in huge company using LinkedIn, but hard to find someone for any sort of hand work.
Yes, we probably can not raise the rate for someone who has job. But in our practice, sometimes qualified employer working locally can help to get job done 20x faster that regular worker that gets managed remotely. I mean - if you can do it fast and right way, you will always get reasonable hour rates. It can be part-time job, evening job, call job etc.
Also - it’s definitely for someone who enjoys doing this kind of things. Many guys are spending time in garages and getting nothing or almost nothing except joy. Some others don’t have this opportunity. I’ve used to spend my free time doing things that I though gave me useful skills, but I had to left the place and now I even don’t have a cordless drill. It’s not good to see things just trough the laptop screen, I would prefer to have opportunity to use some tools and machines and feel real parts with bare hands.

Have you tried putting a message into a bottle and throwing it into the ocean? You may have better luck there.

Thanks every suggest. Mechanic is found. Still searching a person to work with CAD.
