Have you ever worked a factory job or in an assembly line? Nothing at all to be happy about. Boring and monotonous are the key words in the job description but someone has to do it. They’d look just as thrilled in Germany doing the same work.
It does make you wonder. The final product will sell for $55. How many people have touched that product before it lands in the warehouse your order gets dispatched from? That they can keep the retail price so low and still make money is staggering. How low must the wages be when each of those units must have spent over 15 minutes on the line. I’m amazed the process is not more automated, but then you have to charge enough to cover your HW investment, people can just be sacked.
