Pros:

Inside the body, we find a nicely milled area for four 18650 cells. I was able to use both button-top and near flattop cells in this light:

Here is the contact plate in the head, a likely weak point. The wear shown is from only a few cell changes, and I plan on applying a thin film of Deoxit Gold here to reduce future wear:

Hey ! Those LEDs are quite close to the edge of the light...there must be a reason for this:

Lifting the MPCB up, we can see why. The contact area for heat transfer is constrained to the relatively thin retention lip beneath the board:

Those three spots of thermal grease aren't enough to do the job, IMO.
The driver/contact plate is held in by a bit of clear adhesive, the residue of which can be seen at the 2:00 position, and inside the lip of the head:

Up next, we'll see how well it does its job of making light !
