FandyFire Warrior Recommendation

FandyFire Warrior Recommendation: I’m thinking of gifting these with xmas around the corner what charger would be ideal for a gifted warrior , 1bay , 2bay, 4bay? At the same time keeping the price down , the 3 cell is an issue when it comes to charging duration, for myself I have plenty of chargers.
Buying 3 single bays might be better from FT?

For giving away the Ultrafire WF-139 would be adequate. $7.27 on ebay. I use better, more expensive chargers for myself now but have had 30+ WF-139s in the past, they get the job done. I know it doesn’t get the best reviews but it is cheap and it works.

I have bought a lot of these over the last 2 years, some times protected cells fit, sometimes they don’t. Depends on the batch.

I am using this kind of budget charger too, but problem with this charger is they do not accept long cells, for instance 69mm and above.

Thanks for the suggestions, still thinking on 3 budget chargers, so the recipient of my gifted light can charge the 3 cells at once.

Well, if you want to get one to charge all at the same time, and have the capability to charge bigger cells later (if you infect them with the flashoholic bug) there is the new TR-008: http://www.fasttech.com/product/1429000-trustfire-tr-008-1-65-led-3-slot-smart-battery

I havent seen any reviews of it or lower prices (aliexpress sellers shipping usually make it above $30) but its still relatively a good price for what it looks like you get…

How about the very inexpensive, but very good Miller USB chargers from FastTech? The ML-101 is the cheapest @ $3.49ea ($3.22 in qty of 3). Then you just need the mini to full size USB cable @ $1.24ea ($1.08 in qty of 3), and then you need a USB out A/C wall adaptor (preferable one with 3 or 4 outputs). I bought a nice one locally that has 4 ouputs with 2A max output. Here is one at FT (with US plug) for $8.28. No idea if it's safe or quality though.

One issue with the charger is that it may not take really long cells. My ML-102 (older version) takes all my protected cells just fine though.

howabout one of these, serves as a portable charger as well. http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10002784/1381305-enb-enb-tri18650-1a-318650-li-ion-battery-usb-emer

there is also a 4 cell unit that’s $8 and change that will charge even only 1 cell at a time.

Cool! Thanks for that link! But where is the 4 cell version? FT just not have it? Link?

this one, ony $7 now https://www.fasttech.com/p/1280800 That sucker requires removing screws to swap batteries, I remove them and use a wide elastic band.

Oh, ok. I thought you meant an ENB 4 cell one. That ENB looks very nice.

Thanks again , I’m thinking of this Ultrafire 4 bay
It can charge independent channels at 800mAh

Damn it’s a dedicated UK 3 prong adaptor, Grrrrrr

c’mon, it’s perfect. The Warrior holds 3 cells, the eNb charges exactly 3 cells. Buy the Warrior, the Enb 3 cell version and 3 cells. Minimum amount of money spent and you get 2 usable devices in one purchase! They can use the 3 cells in the charger as a portable power supply OR use the 3 cells in the flashlight. You have 2 chances of gifting something that will actually be used with one purchase. That is too good of an idea to pass up!

After seeing that, I’m going to buy one myself, its a cheap, easy to access backup (most you have to unscrew to get the 18650s out), it allows you take just two items anywhere: 1)Warrior and 2)Emergency phone charging device/3 battery charger/backup battery container on a hike/trip/car anywhere. Sounds better than what you asked for to me, and one is going to be going in my pack.

Only issue I'd that it'll take an awfully long time to charge 3 high capacity cells, right?

I have the Ruinovo from FastTech with 4 Pana 3400mAh cells and use a 2A Apple Ipad charger, it will charge overnight. Never tried the regular 1A USB from a computer though, as like you mention would take twice as long.
4 of those Panasonics really do soak up a lot of juice!

Even better is to get 6 batteries to go with

The OP specified that for this GIFT he would like to keep the cost down. I had planned on gifting this light to my niece this Christmas and that combo would be perfect while keeping the cost down. Any time you gift a flashlight to a non flash aholic, there is a chance it will not be used much. This particular combo will provide more utility, for no extra cost.
