Fast Tech

FT has set a new speed record, at least for me. Ordered 2 July, shipped 3 July, received in Florida 8 July.

That was so quick that I actually remembered what I had ordered.

lol. Shipped by singpost or HK post?

I placed my order June 20 got it on June 24th. That is 4 days to CA USA!
FastTech so far me.

It was HK post.

To Australia I have been waiting about 3 weeks for my last order from FastTech and still don’t have it yet.

Usually they used to get here in about a week, there is a whole thread about it somewhere.

I recently placed my first 2 orders from FT so I’m interested to see the times.

I did notice on one order there were about 10 assorted items all supposedly in stock but still took 4 days to ship, the other order with only a torch shipped the next day.

I`ve sent them a light back, unregistered,... stupid me, about 3 weeks ago, and they still "haven`t received anything".

I guess sending FROM china goes faster than shipping TO China.

I think one important point is that shippers don’t actually ‘get it there’ at all. The very best they can do is ship it promptly - from there on, it’s up to the various carriers.

I almost never get anything in less than 3 weeks despite shipping notification (often) within 48 hours - and that includes 26 days from FourSevens in Atlanta to Alberta, which notably does not involve crossing the Pacific ocean. In that instance I placed the order late one evening, and had a ‘shipped’ notification before noon the following morning.

In my case, I have no doubt the slow poke is Canada Post and/or Canada Customs (or ‘Border Services’, or whatever they’re called nowadays). The parcels get to Canada in good time, but then languish somewhere for days upon days before being delivered. They really do need to feed those sled dogs better.

I’ve only ever been disappointed in one seller when it took Efest 28 days to get a battery order out the door. By the time it was in my hands, 42 days had passed. I’ve been disappointed in Canada Post more times than I can count.

It helps to live near a customs entry point also. Miami is an entry point so, FL residents will get things quicker if it goes to the most efficient way. Same with California, New York etc. When I ship a parcel to Canada they usually exit via Miami FL. So, they have to go about 1300 miles south to go north. :~

You would think they could go out via Atlanta or something, even NY or SanFran but no, they go all the way down to Miami in the opposite direction and then up to Canada. The USPS ain’t no model of efficiency either.
