The Nitecore EC25W seems like as good a light with none of the drawbacks, a smaller size, and a lower price. Only $51.57 before any BLF discount. $48.99 after BLF discount is applied.
I like the look of the EC25 too, but I prefer the less aggressive step down of the P25 at 20 mins, compared with the EC25 at 3 minutes. The P25 is also a better thrower, although that’s neither here or there depending if you want more flood or throw.
While I agree, and use a turnigy accucel 6 for most of my charging.
I find it pretty handy to be able to top this off via microusb charging if I needed, guess time will tell how safely this works or continues to work. Hoping they did it right, being that its their ‘flagship’ model. fingers crossed anyway
I get more worried about my Sunwayman T60cs TBH. Who had the ungodly idea of charging 3 18650’s in series without balancing?
Does anyone know if either of these hosts are glued shut? It would be nice to be able to upgrade the emitters at some point without having to burn the bezel off with a blow torch.
Just got back yesterday and received my P25. Not too happy with the rubber cap for the usb charger, and the tailcap when locked out isn’t aligned with the rest of the body. Aside from that it has a nice feel to it, looks great, and a nice smooth beam profile. Haven’t yet had much chance to use it, although I already like the UI.
I’m actually not sure how long it took, but it did ship very fast, within 2 days from fasttech. I was on holiday for 1 month shortly after, and it was waiting for me when I got back. I’ve made a few orders from fasttech recently, I’ve noticed if you cancel an item in an order it seems to cause a delay for 2-3 days. It’s definitely genuine, quality is written all over it in all regards.
