I read that animals respond to different colors. Some can’t see red, some can’t see green.

I was about to learning this behavior and already build flashlight with different colors for this purpose. It’s a P60 system with two different drop-ins.

I was using red light for shaded areas when the moon is full, but a comment from Henk4U2, about dogs not being able to see red light will probably change that. My dog is old and almost blind and I just didn’t notice that he is even more blind with the red light.
The green light is useful when you have to go into the garden in the night to fetch some parsley (or anything else), so I’m not messing with plants biorhythm.

I would be very happy with a light that can do all three colors.

Thanks for the giveaway! I already own enough lights but i would love to surprise my dad with this light. He does not like to carry multiple lights but wants to have red light. In our area (netherlands) we have something called “hike and seek” which is basically a giant game of tag lasting 3 days and 2 nights. Because you need to hide during the night a red light is way less visible from far away but a white light is handy during situations where you need to see much. That is why i think he would really enjoy it!

My eyes definitely prefer the red color when wondering in pitch black darkness. The H3 V2.0 sounds pretty great!

Thanks for a great giveaway.

Red and Green are very useful for hunting and night navigation as they preserve your night vision.

I wish more headlamps at these features at useful output levels.

I got lots of red, green, RGBW, etc., lights.

Red is handy for looking for various critters without scaring them (raccoons, armadillos, some cats), and green similarly. For me, it’s easier to see in PC green because of the color-bleed, vs monochromatic green.

I user red almost exclusively; I have green c8+ with an Osram that I like but almost always use red for tasks.
