Favorite wrist lanyard for flashlights and other gadgets?

Hey guys I was about to buy another bag of the lanyards I usually get because a few of mine that I have attached to my flashlights have broken. Then I wondered if there might be something much more durable and better that I could be using instead.

Any advice?

Hiking shoe laces, Atwood Rope Mfg. 3/32" 4 strand core & 3/64" micro cord.

Unused power tool lanyards for hefty lights.

As long as they're comfortable.

Obviously, there's a lot more cord in one of those 4 strand packs so I have used it for other things like support lines to string up lights in the yard.

Nice! I was hoping to find ones I can buy (like on Amazon? for my numerous flashlights, knives, etc

I like the quick disconnect Convoy one.

550 paracord on almost everything. Almost always with the guts removed. I have a few different colors and brands and some are a little stiffer than others. Some end up laying really flat without the guts. If that’s too big to fit through the hole I’ll use a little piece of 2 mm paracord to tie a small loop. On some lights that don’t have a dedicated lanyard hole I have wrapped two to five layers of the 2 mm cord around the light to be able to pass the 550 cord under. You have to end up burning the ends of the small cord to keep a knot from coming undone.

I like to buy it at Top Brass in San Antonio but Atwood cord products are available on Amazon.
