Really like this light. I upgraded from a Nitecore MH12S, very similar in terms of form factor, the Fenix is slightly bigger.
My Nitecore diffuser filter fits on it but only just. I use this for cycling and much prefer it to the Fenix diffusers as it doesn’t emit light in any direction except forwards. The Fenix bike mount fits fine.
Not entirely sold on the interface but it’s usable. I think on balance I’d prefer having the button on the side to change modes but not too fussed. Instant access to strobe is cool but I doubt I’ll ever need that.
Power output is nuts in turbo mode but it can’t sustain it for very long. What I really like about this light is that on high it will sustain close to 1000 lumens for over 2 hours. The MH12S can only sustain about 550-ish on turbo after temperature regulation, although admittedly does manage this for a significantly longer 3h.
I wish these lights had a bike flasher function, like a button I could press that would flash the front light to give way to cars.
