That sounds promising. I wonder how big the light will actually be.
Yes it does. I’ve always wanted something more pocketable. I hope the output is a bit higher though.
I wonder if it’s an MT-G2 light…
Might be a nice little light to have
Sorry I don’t have more info Guys.
I’ll post something on the blog as soon as the rep passes me more info.
Welcome to BLF.
Sweet. Looking forward to more info.
Welcome to BLF, and thanks for the info already given
On Facebook I got a reply, we will know more in July I guess
let me know when it’s up and running
I wonder why they are dialing it down so much?
A single 18650 can produce 5 Amps without even needing IMR, and fully drive an XM-L emitter, typically at 3 Amps.
If they are using 3 of them, theres no reason why they can’t drive all 3 emitters the same as the TK75.
Even 2 of them could power the TK75 at its current levels (barely).
Not sure, may be because they are dialling back the size of the overall light too.
They start production in July, hopefully we see them before August.
Part of me hopes its a single mtg2 instead of a triple xml2 (but the odd number of cells makes it less likely)
Fenix doesn’t alway run there lights hard, the TK45 could have been driven harder than 760 lumens, the TK40 could have done more than 630 lumens with the MCE.
They may be trying to have a good runtime in a more compact form and not have a stepdown from turbo. (That’s my guess)
Any news about this light?
