FieldLume TAC30 SFT42R Tactical Torch Review

The FieldLume TAC30 SFT42R is a tactical torch from a new torch brand in Melbourne, Australia.

Leo from FieldlLume reached out on socials. I met up with his colleague, Will, at a cafe about 15 minutes away.

The TAC30 looks very similar to the SABERTOOTH ST-DT1 Ultra on BLF. That’s because it is from the same factory.

The beam produced is very throwy. It has a narrow spill.

The output looks stable.

The surface temperature reached 67.5 C after 40 minutes on Turbo.

21750?

What monstrosity is this?

Same size as a NEXTORCH 21700 but FieldLume seem to be acknowledging that the USB-C and protection circuit go beyond 21700 with 21750.

I figured that was the case, will a “standard” 21700 fit and function in the light?

Yes. Unprotected flat top 21700 fit. But if you shake it hard, it might change modes.
