Looking for ideas on how to attach a red filter to my K40,i know it will really reduce the throw .but i would like to try it :bigsmile:
how about cutting some red cellophane and fastening it inside the lens? or, get another lense and some of that paint for turning taillight clusters all red?
Hi gords just ordered some Lee Filter Sheets,would like to attach them to the K40 and be able to take them off and on when out and about :bigsmile:
ah, I’m not familiar with them, how about carrying the k40 and maybe slinging the stl-v6 as a spotting light?
K40 is my spotter gords 
How about just wearing rose colored glasses?
Might be easier to change the emitter.

I'd take a pair of calipers and measure the outside diameter of the head and see if you can retrofit a red filter camera lense on it. otherwise buy aftermarket coated lense and put a red tint on it. Just remember, Macgyver is your friend!
