Fingerless gloves recommendations wanted

Over the past few weeks, I have noticed that my hands sweat when I play video games.

This is new to me, and I think the best solution is to get fingerless gloves.

I looked on Amazon forever, and I think I'll order these:

I know that these gloves are overkill for just video games, but I want nice gloves.

By the way, there are gloves made for people that play video games, but they have poor feedback on Amazon.

That's why I'm looking at fishing gloves and bike gloves.

bike gloves tend to have padded palms, which you may not like for video

Yes, but I don't want to wait for a shipment from China.

(The gloves need to come from the U.S.)

Also, I want gloves made of a material that wick away moisture, and I don't think the el cheapos on AliExpress are made of anything like that.

I looked at a bunch of compression gloves, but not any with copper.

Even the highest rated ones had reports of durability issues such as seams coming undone which is why I looked at other types of gloves.

Compression gloves are nice and simple, however, and if they don't fall apart, are an excellent idea.

I was over at Home Depot and was shocked at some of the safety glove prices.

What I have done before is buy good quality safety gloves and trimmed the fingers off. Then did a bit of sewing at the joints.

Leather won’t unravel, nor the leather like plastics. All they need is a stitch at the corners.

The back brace I have had for about 4 months with no issues so far…….the gloves about 5 weeks now. If the gloves turn out as durable as the back brace , then they will do for some time to come. Wish I could give you a better idea of the durability on the gloves , but at this time I can’t.

Yep, if I were crafty, I would think about getting regular gloves and trimming the fingers off.

I just don't sew.

Good solution for others, though.

I tend to go for the “fishing” gloves.
They made for somebody who is actively using them, Sometimes hard.
Over long periods of time.
Leather and material.
I used mine for casting lures mainly. for hrs at a time. and Jigging.

Most I ever did to damage them
was wear the thumb front bottom out slowing the spool.

These take about 5 minutes per hand to buckle up, but I never have to worry about them flying off when raging.

I should have been looking for that all along.

Also notice that they are mostly polyester.

I don't usually associate polyester with being good at wicking away moisture, but there are many types of polyester, and these gloves are made of the right type.

I'll report my findings when these arrive at my house, but I think I've found a winner.

Yep, you're right about that.

I thought the bike gloves I ordered had very thin padding, but there's more than enough of it to be annoying.

These were delivered today.

They are perfect for what I wanted them for.

They wick away moisture and are cooling.

They are thin and very lightweight.

They are perfect for sweaty hands caused by playing video games, though they are perfect for a lot of activities.

According to the manufacturer's sizing chart, I wear a Medium.

I ordered a Large, and it's just the right size.

They're also easy to take off.

I haven't had them long, but so far I am very happy with this purchase.

I received these today.

They're an XL and they're too small.

The fingerless gloves made by the same company are Large and they're NOT too small.

The full finger gloves also are thicker on the palm, which is not good for playing video games.

EDIT: It looks like if I were to return them, but I would have to pay return shipping.

I will eventually try to sell them on BLF.
