Would it do any good to put samsung 20r in my ff4, aside from less runtime do I gain any brightness?
the short answer is probably not any more perceivable brightness
it does depend on what kind of driver the ff4 uses… if its a boost/buck it will send the same amount of power to the bulb as long as you supply the required voltage
welcome to blf!
I have tried some in to my FF4s and think they run a nadge cooler than either PDs PFs or blue tops.
Output wise with a standard FF4 didn’t notice anything that would make me want to measure the output or use them for the 4. YMMV
So I just stick what I have always used, the runtime on the Samsungs would be too short for me anyway, I sometimes moan about the blue top’s runtime as it is.
