Those are quite high end and expensive lights for your first multi-emitter light.
I would choose the TK75 though.
TN30 now have XML2. So very difficult to choose between them.
If you want pure lumens, Trustfire X100 is unbeatable if you already have 26650 batteries.
1ST mm light? Skyray King you'll have enough left over to make it your 2nd and 3rd MM light. Add some minor tweaks and its a beast.
well, it goes like this: I ordered small sun zy t-08 and xintd v3 with u3, they should arrive some day next week. I’m gonna try them out, and sell the one i less like to my friend ![]()
And what goes for the multi emmiter light, i have no intentions to buy another light for some time, so i’d go with quality not quantity
and it’s hard to get an original srk these days + that it’s built good…
Maybe wait for tk75 to come with xm-l2? I don’t like the fast step down on thrunite tn30, afaik it’s 20minutes on tk75 to step down?
I’d have a look at a shadow sl3 if you have 26650’s, this is likely to be my first multi emitter light.

I like that it has a 7135 based driver, therefore stacking to get 2a/emitter or even 3a/emitter is an option. J)
nope, i run 18650 only
and btw, this uses only 1 battery? think thats a fail with 3x xm-l ![]()
I don’t, king kongs can give the 10a, not for long, but they can do it, I have others I’m building for wow and long runtime, this’ll just be to take the mickey….
Automatic down shift after 5 minutes to 50% to prevent overheating. Don’t like that either ![]()
I’m a little confused. These are two very different lights. One is a flooder and the other is a thrower. I suppose both are sort of hybrids, but they’re at different ends of the hybrid spectrum.
It seems more appropriate, to me, to compare the TN30 to a Nitecore TM11 or a Skyray King. The difference in lumens and throw between TN30 and black SRK is only about 1/6th, which would be hard to notice in real life. However, the difference in size and price is pretty significant. SRK costs quite a bit less and is significantly smaller. It’s a great first multi-emitter light, and you can get a genuine one from CNQualityGoods.
Or, for the TK75, it seems more appropriate to compare to a TN31… similar throw, similar overall size, similar quality, but the TN31 has less lumens/spill and a lower price.
I may be a little biased though… I love my little SRK. I like to keep it in my purse or coat pocket and surprise people by having such a ridiculously bright torch. It was great fun last time we had serious snow, going outside with my wizard-like robe, pulling out the SRK, and yelling Cone of Cold! as I turned it on… Suddenly there was a cone of blazing-bright blizzard extending from my hand and I felt for a moment as if I had performed real magic.
