Hello. I received my always longed for M6 from Richard today. Last of his ‘old stock.’ $35, great price, thanks. Yea, I preferred either of his mods, but just got the stock light. It’s a terrific light, BUT. What do I do with this gigantic, heavy, thing??? Yea, it’s about 2500 lumen on high, that’s nice, but I have other much smaller lights that do that, well, one anyway. This is a gorgeous light, nice emitters, reflectors, bezel, etc. Guess I’ll play with it for a while, then put it on the shelf with the other 40 plus lights. Perhaps I’ll have a BIG sale one day, hopefully. One price takes all.
looking for suggestions what to do with this light Can’t use it on my bicycle. Not a glove box light. Maybe I figured it out. I put it on the low mode and have it tailstanding, it makes a great room light! I may have Everett remove one of the emitters and replace it with a RGBW XM-L and add his MELD firmware. Now that’s a light!
This is a perfect light for emergency preparedness kit.
Long runtime, tailstands, can run it with 1 or more battery, can light up a large area, multiple modes, lower modes don’t get hot.
What to do with it? MODIFY!!! I’d buy three warm white XPL LEDs on noctiogons and a BLF DD from RMM. You can also go with the max output option and get U3 LEDs or max throw option and buy 1A LEDs and dedome them yourself. If you want lots of headache :P, get three MT-G2 LEDs, widen your reflectors, connect them in parallel, reconnect your battery compartment to it is 2S2P and enjoy! (BLF DD,MTG driver)
appreciate your words. I am liking this light a lot now. Yea, running it on 1 cell now, no problem. Only wish it had a moonlight mode. One of my better acquisitions and at only $35!
