Thanks for sharing. I still use Facebook, but I might as well cancel my account soon. There are too many ads on there and who knows who gets data these days…

I pretty much only visit Facebook to enter flashlight giveaways and look at the ads. They’ve got me perfectly profiled so all I see is gadgets of questionable utility and dubious Kickstarter campaigns.

I have no issue with Facebook, but unfortunately this is a “spam your friends” style competition so I’ll pass.

The most interesting (or rather creepy) aspect is that all my other digital devices also show me the same ads. Facebook sells my entire identity, IP, location, language, etc

I see ads for gearbest, banggood and gadgets on gmail, on the yahoomail app on the iPad, my youtube videos on my smart TV and so on! Even at my workplace the ads are exactly the same, even though it is a different location.

They got us.
