Fitting a 17mm driver into pill designed for 18mm

I want to install a 17mm driver into one of my Reylight Dawns that use a 18mm driver. Any easy solutions for this?

Try folding a thin metal paperclip into a circle around the driver The main objective is centering the driver. Assuming there is a retaining ring to press the driver to the body of the light.

KAI Domain has some 18 to 17mm adapters. Ordered a few. Hopefully they work.
