Doing trits is costly.
Clear epoxy can be used but it less clear & some can turn yellow. Some say they have used superglue or even clear nail polish. :tired:
I personally wouldn’t use them. Maybe nail polish only if I needed it to be removable.
Perhaps you can substitute chinese UV cure adhesive for Norland NOA61.
I used this stuff - Loctite Glass Bond Adhesive - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Loctite-Glass-Bond-Adhesive-3g-Glass-Glass-Metal-Cures-Daylight-Water-Reistant-/261045510136?pt=UK_Crafts_Cardmaking_Scrapbooking_Glue_Tape_EH&hash=item3cc7865ff8
But you really need a sunny 15 minutes to make it cure, which can be hard to find in the UK.
cheers for that buddy, i’ll get some of that hopefully we’ll have some more sun before too long
No problem. Take care with that glue, it goes off quick in bright sun. Rock hard in 10 to 15 mins. So make sure you have the parts right where you want them before setting.
These were made using the Loctite glue….
Now there very cool
Cheers, and a pain in the backside to make. Wrecked a few skulls drilling the hole through between the eyes, but yes they look good in the dark.
So what light are you modding with tritium?
Quantum DD
Do you make those skulls yourself ?
Skulls purchased from UK web store here - http://ant-supplies.co.uk/Pages/SkullBeads.aspx
I just fitted the tritium eyes
i like that website, didn’t know we had anything cool like that over here lol
