Flashaholics less prone to Seasonal Affective Disorder?

Just thinking about how some people complain about long winter nights and Seasonal Affective Disorder:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seasonal_affective_disorder

and from the description:

“There are many different treatments for classic (winter-based) seasonal affective disorder, including light therapy with sunlight or bright lights…”

I’m wondering if flashaholics are less prone to Seasonal Affective Disorder. I actually look forward to it getting darker earlier and using my lights legitimately!

one can use lights illegitimately?

Nice one Bort, that really made me lol

XM-L and many other cree LEDs have very low 480nm outputs (check the datasheets)

Yes, flashaholics are just as susceptible to sadness but it happens in the summer when we can’t stay up to use them.

I stopped buying from dino direct and dx and my depression is lifting :)

If you threaten the mailman ,,, ya might just be a flashaholic

With the loss of leaves and snow on the ground, there is so much reflected light that I don’t really need a flashlight in the winter. Trying out a new light is useless when dealing with ambient light and reflective snow. They all look the same.

By the look of the goings on here lately, I’d say they were more prone to it!!

Cheers
