Will you please suggest a good flashlight for everyday use ! It should be :

- handy , pocketable , good looking

- good runtime

- AA or 18650 cells

- good make

- can throw bright useful beam ( 100+ mts , floody enough )

- with SIDE SWITCH only

  • few modes

+1 on the Nitecore Explorer. Doubt you’ll find much else of similar size and ability tbh.

Here goes my personal favourite side-switch lights in my prefered mode order :smiley:

For LOW budget I would also recommend that sipik hk23 (here is the AA version).

For MEDIUM budget I would suggest this one: Shadow GF1

For rather HIGH budget my vote would go to these beauties: SWM C20C
SWM C10R

Wooow what you suggest are really great !
I think nitecore ec2 and swm c20c to consider .
Crelant 7g2cs is good but its with a tactical switch also . If it were with only side switch , I would think of it - a real power house but narrow beam thrower ( as I had read somewhere ) .

I personally think a thin side switch light feels very odd

I have both these lights and love them dearly. Both are very small and pocketable with all the light you could need. The side switch is exactly where your thumb rests. Very EDCable.
