I want a flashlight for general use, I mean, use it in the house, in the car, when the power goes out, when you need to change a tire or repair the car…
It must not to have a very strong beam… I think that 300 lumens is the maximun I need and 100 lumens is the minimum I need.
Important: it must be powered by Li-ion and/or Standard batteries in the AA size.
(I mean AA - alkaline or rechargeable NiMh batts or 14500), and important too, the price, no more than 40USD.
I need to choose between one of the following flashlights that I have been “checking” before at DX (there are too many flashlights at DX!!):
Afraid I’ve not used or got any of those. However for AA/14500 use I think you’ll struggle to truly better an sk68 which can be had for $5 or so. You really need to spend quite a bit more to get something substantially better (IMO). But it then comes down to build quality, modes, UI and any other specific needs.
For general purpose lights I reckon it’s hard to be something like a MagLite XL200/Mini Mag Pro+ they don’t run on li-ion, but they perform well and are well built and sensibly priced.
I suggest to not to carry a Li-Ion powered flashlight in your car. If the temp of the inside of the car raises above a certain value (I beleive 60ºC) that could be bad for the Li-ion batteries. It may (MAY) cause a fire… and you will loose your car… Do it at your own risk

Umm something doesn’t sound right about that to me. Are you meaning degrees F or C?
But that aside li-ion is used in mobile/cell phones, lap tops and even as the primary power source in some electric cars. The risk of fire from these would be equal to that of an inactive flashlight, yet I don’t see people avoiding the others.
There is a risk with li-ion, but then there’s probably equal risk using that highly volatile liquid petrol (gasoline). Yet most seem quite happy about using the latter.
I’ll recommend this one Zebralight SC52 1aa/14500 awesomeness with a couple of these for back up. The lithium batteries aren’t influenced by temperture as much as li-ion’s. You could still run a 14500 li-ion if you would like just never stored in your car. This is a well liked light on this forum. You should find several threads and reviews easy enough about the SC52. More than $40 but worth the extra coinage and not a DX. Sorry, I didn’t pick from your DX choices, I just about know you would be more well served and happy with the SC52 than any other light in the list. I would recommend a well liked and appropriate charger which would be a Nitecore i4 V2.
