Flashlight recommendation?

Hello, I've looking for a new flashlight to buy after my first one somehow died last week. I've been reading reviews for the past few days but it's kind of hard to decide on one that fits my needs. Since I'm still new to this hobby, I'm trying to keep my budget at around $30. I'll be mounting this bike on my bike most of the time.

Here is what I'm looking for:

-It should be able to take a beating from rough roads.

-I don't want it to get too hot to hold even when I leave it on for a while.

-Doesn't have to be too bright but I would probably prefer it to be 300+ lumens.

-Takes a single 18650.

The main thing that I'm looking for is probably durability since having my first flashlight die on me makes me pretty uneasy about buying more flashlights.

Thanks for reading. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ^^

I'm using a grey Solarforce L2P with Cree XPG 3 mode dropin

Will post photo tomorrow

Edit: photo added

That's what I would go with for the specs you laid out. Any Solarforce host is nice and the XP-G is perfect if you don't want it to get hot...

I have been eyeing the Solarforce L2P for the past few days so I'll probably end up getting it. Would this drop in match what I'm looking for or is there something better? http://www.solarforceflashlight-sales.com/product_detail.php?t=RB&s=10&id=207

Aloha and welcome to BLF Rozen!

I have 2 Solarforce L2P's and absolutely love them. They are my favorite Solarforce lights. I'm pretty sure you won't be disapponted if you go the L2P route.

Welcome Rosen. I think these guys have you on the right track. With that rig any problem is easy to fix.

Welcome to BLF, Rozen. I have that 320L dropin you mentioned in post #3. I have it in an L2m. Of course you won't be getting the M model because of your preferred battery type, but a SF host is a SF host is a... So, like everyone else said, I think that's a pretty good choice given your list of "wants".

Thanks for the help guys. I decided to get the l2p, but does anyone know if it'll fit the Xtar 18700 batteries?

The XTAR 2600s fit in my L2P with some wiggle room to spare.
