I got a good laugh from my wife this afternoon when she refereed to me as a flashlight Whore. Earlier I had received 4 boxes and two soft envelopes in the mail while i was at work. Batteries, Charger, S70S, EA-11, etc…. At some point i am going through my new stuff and evidently ignoring my lovely wife and i hear “Hey Flashlight Whore” to which we lauged hysterically. I explained to her that my “addiction” was minuscule in to comparison to other flashaholics or i think it is, hope so any way… Though i would share as we got a good laugh and hope you do as well. Here is a pic of my small light mill. I other various light in each room of the house the only exception being the bathroom. So share your story and pic of you light station or??

We don’t get paid to do what we do… Much to the contrary.

We’re more like patrons of flashlights. We really like spending money in the red light district… or neutral light district… or cool light district…

I, myself prefer the offerings available in the neutral light district. Not sure why, just my fetish, I guess.

well, you are much more organized and in control of your stuff than I am
I would need a very wide angle lens to incorporate two rooms and a bit of the attic for the boxes

When you look at it.
MOST are just upgraded variations of existing builds.
Very few are actually a new development of any warrant.
Maybe the BLF Convoy L6 and the Imalent 80000 lumen coke can.

I’m 99% Neutral tint.
and slowly changing over to all (if poss) side switch.
those rear sw are so awkward to use I find.
Unnatural. Unless it mounted on an 870 or something.

I always throw the boxes away after I had for a week to make sure the item fault free.
If I kept all the boxes from over 70 yrs I’d need a warehouse to store them.

I have a 9in x 9in by 4in box full of the torches I have in “storage”. ex battery;s.
All Superceded.

Great fun ain’t it.

This is the shelf the wife lets me keep in the family room. I then have more shelves and chargers scattered about the house. I even have two drawers of the dresser that I can keep batteries and parts in. I also have a bank of cabinets that house all of the original boxes for every light I have ever bought. They take up more room than the lights. There are 15 more lights behind that wall. Yes, I know, it’s a disease. I get it. I got it, and I love it.

Great fun indeed!! As like you i do not drink, smoke, do any form of drug unless unless ibuprofen counts for an aging back. I have lights in drawers and the den i see on a monthly increment and “oh look a new light” I cannot even begin to guess at money i have invested over the years. Heck, i have two new in the box on my shelf that i have not opened as of yet. The R50 seeker elite pack and the Nitecore R40. I due tune everything out when opening new boxes so i suppose my Lovely wife has a point. LOL

out of your collection. (everybody)
If they were the ONLY torches you could take. permanently?.

Dude, please PLEASE find a better location in your home to setup your charger station. You know, one that’s not carpeted and next to drapes (flammable materials)!

My charging station is in the basement, concrete floors and walls, and the charger sits on a fireproof slab of slate on my workbench (with a smoke detector and extinguisher above / next to it)
