If you combine it with a light that has a tight hotspot, the result will be very close to your last photo. I think selfbuilt was the one who tested it and measured 3.2% output loss.
Phaserburn still sells small sheets of it at CPFMarketplace. Vinhnguyen used to sell and there and here, but I don't know anymore.

If you are a beam profile connesseur then you should definitely try some DC Fix . It will not only remove beam artifacts and smooth out the hotspot/corona/spill transitions , but it has the added benefit of evening out the tint shift of an XML ...
