Flood EDC Flashlight Help (newbie Question)

Hello everyone. I am new to all of this. I have questions and concerns. I am looking for an edc light, flood beam, lo/med/hi. No modes, no menues, no strobe. No more than 1000 lumens, long runtime on hi. Example, night walks on rural backroads with no street lights. Too bright is blinding when the light reflects off the road. No hotspot, pure flood. I want a light that is built well, great quality control. I am not a collector, not looking for a hobby. I would prefer a removeable battery and external charger rather than built it. Less is more. Tactile clicky switch, again no goofy UI. This is a tool, not a hobby light. Thanks for the help.

It’s good to have you here, BlindFarmer!

Thank you. This will be fun.

What runtime do you need and what size of battery would you prefer?

If 21700 is fine, this is probably the closest you can have:

519A in CCT of your likings, constant current driver, one of the batteries, doesn’t matter which one, Replace the reflector with 60 degree bead TIR
When you have the driver β†’ β€œ7. flashlight off, 6-click the button β€”β€”> normal ramping mode switch to 4modes 1%-10%-40%-100%” when you dislike the ramping.

This will be quite close to what you want. It does have 4 instead of 3 modes and an inbuilt charger, though.
