Dale, seriously, I had an image of a real deep Texan voice for some reason :bigsmile: I’m going to have to hack my you tube and shoot a video, then you can laugh at my stupid accent.
Anyway, joking aside, I spent ages going over my review in my head before I wrote it, making notes and bullet points, scripting it if you will. I think this would help you, you seemed to panic at a few points, get your facts down as bullet points, practice a few times and your sorted. Just try to be confident, you know your s*, just panicked with the camera on you, that’s all, no biggie.

I don’t consider myself to be shy, but if there is a video camera pointed anywhere near me I seem to become all self conscious and I clam-up.

It was pretty good! But it seems like someone is holding the cam, isn’t it easier if you are alone? For me recording is Not a problem… The problem is to speech. I use to record mute videos with subtitles, piece of cake!
I don’t know why, but listening to ourselves speaking is not pleasant. My English teacher makes me record things to send by mail, I hate that homework!
Talking about cameras… Today I was welding in a tough spot. All stretched out laying across some t bars… Finish up, squirm out and flip my hood up. Theres a damn safety guy video taping me for a freaking safety video… He’s all like no no continue this is good stuff… And I’m like… Uh are you taping me? Is this going on a safety video?
There I was welding with no respirator… The what not to do part of the video I’m assuming…
Awkward…
Moral of this story, I hate cameras. Anything you did is 100x better than I could do.
Something similar happened to me… You don’t have to hate video cams, you have to hate safety guys!
