Picked this up today at Menards on clearance, $2.50... Comes with a usb cable and lanyard, rated for 2600mAH. I bought it for the battery. I picked up 2 of them and the first battery is in the Xtar charger right now, it arrived at 3.88v. I wish I had a good way to test capacity.
Does anyone know what battery this is? No manufacturer name on it.
I think you got a great deal regardless of the capacity. The cell looks like the cells I pulled from a Lenova laptop. I don’t know what those were though.
They are not protected cells. And they are flattop. I like flattop cells, they seem to me to be less likely to get shorted out if put down around other metal objects.
