Not much info given, but it explains a lot about the recent clearance sales.

Hope success in whatever he wants to venture next and that he still remains a flashaholic and frequent the forums!

Sorry to hear that :frowning: Say what you may about some of their lights but David was a 100% class act. I hope he bounces back like a cat.

David is a smart guy. I’m sure he’s comfortable wherever he’s going! Still sad though.

Bummers… my most reliable light is a AA-T. I EDC’d it for 5 years. Modded it with a neutral XPG3. My first programmable light, where I learned HOW NICE it is having a light where I can chose the output modes. I use it still, and bounce back and forth between it and a Manker E11.

One must leave first in order to make a comeback.

I’ve had nothing but issues with Fenix lights that he used to sell. Not really his fault, I get that he is just reseller and doesn’t make any lights but a lot of his stuff is just junk.

I’ve had several L2D fail 10 years ago circa 2007-08 time frame. A recent 4/7 Quark 1x123 had issues with threads corroding and not turning on.

Too bad, I really liked preon revo.

Checked the site but the limited edition Farewell lights aren’t listed.
Sad to hear, but I think its pretty obvious who the next owner is.
Only got my first 4-7 lights a few weeks ago and the hints of Olight influence in the lights and accessories was obvious. Now seeing the 4-7 clip on the New S1 mini…
Yeah… pass the baton…

2 of the three clearance lights I got recently had quality issues.
