There is one disadvantage to the cost of shipping being built into the price, if you buy more than one item you are paying shipping on both of them, where as with shipping added at the cart you probably will only pay the same as for one, assuming smaller items.
I have just placed an order for 7 small items and with the shipping cost built into the price I have payed 7 shipping costs when they will all fit in a small package = 1 cost.

That’s true, the seller will like that.

When I buy things I normally buy more than I need hoping that the seller will use a quicker delivery service as they can afford to pay it with their greater profit and I hope they’ll do this so I buy from them again.

Will a package worth $20 be shipped quicker than one for $5 without having to pay extra?
