Interested but can someone describe the amount of time the light stays at which lumen levels before it dials down the 1st time, 2nd time, and so forth? thanks!

It depends on the LED’s, ambient temp, and temp threshold the the UI is set to. I suggest you read up a bit on Anduril UI, or check a few videos on YouTube of the Astrolux MF01S.
At which ambient temperature, do you want to know?
I think there are no steps, there are a smooth downramping over a longer time.
Its not easy to tell. Its a hot rod!

Say 70 degrees ambient? I just wanted to get a general idea of the stable lumen level I could count on for a long while

The Emisar D4S can run almost stable at around 1000 lumens. This is a bit bigger and more leds at same lumen gives better efficiency. So my guesstimate is a bit over 1000 lumens maybe 1200 it can run stable and barely warming up.
Is that 1000lm with X-PL HIs though probably? High CRI SST-20s will make a lot more heat at the same output.

Yes the D4S was XP-L HI. Then with high CRI SST20 it will be closer to 7-900 lumens

The SST-20 lags a lot behind the XP-L Hi in efficiency when at direct drive, but at the lower regulated modes the difference is less.

Currently, do you prefer the MF01S Mini or the E07?

E07. The only reason I would consider the MF01 mini is the price. If it is $35 like it was in taobao.
