I suspect the price in the photo is from a long time ago and the current price of a light is higher ( whatever the code lowers it down to), and the picture With the old price was never updated. But it would be great to hear from freeme on this - I have the same issue with it.

The price fluctuates a LOT…at the present they are much dearer than a couple of months ago, I’d wait untill price drops then use coupon, they also offer MF01S with 4xSamsung 30q. sometimes the price with the cells is cheaper than just the light. They are seperate listings.

Standard tripod threading of 1/4-20 and the bushing is 3/8-16. Any decent photo supply place will have some, but here’s a search on amazon, lots of options: Amazon.com : 3/8 bushing tripod
