I received my 3000k fwaa. What a great size. I also seem to have won the 219c tint lottery, I never before liked any 219c, always received green/yellow ones.
The tint is a bit less pink than 219b, but easily as nice as 7a xml2 and xpl-hi.
As said the beam is very floody, but that’s fine for my use.
Quick pic below.

Sometimes it’s actually better not to put the best thermal grease on.
After all, without the best thermal grease you might get 30 seconds of turbo before it gets too hot. With better grease, may you get only 10 seconds.
Which is more useful? 30 seconds sounds good to me. Sure this means heat doesn’t get removed from the LED as efficiently, but frankly that’s usually not an issue. The LED can take a LOT more heat than my hand. As long as it doesn’t get hot enough to melt the solder on the star, I’m fine with it.
Hi, I just received fwaa 219c 4000k= definitely happy with purchase! But being my first anduril 2 torch hehe! Just wanted to clarify that ramp goes all the way to turbo?
BTW simple UI factory set for the muggles and for mass marketing, makes perfect sense to me. Thanks for looking forward TK!!
On both simple and complex UI, the default is ramp goes all the way up to turbo. However, on complex UI, you can set the top of ramp to whatever you want. Personally, I like to set it to the highest position available where an accidental pocket activation to max ramp won't burn a hole in my pocket.
In my case I set it to 50 steps below max. I can still access max turbo at any time using the shortcut from off, or the slightly cumbersome ramp to top then double-click from on. To change the ramp, I think the routine is:
turn on the light in complex UI mode
click 7 times and hold on the last click.
the light will blink once, then wait several seconds and blink again. Wait for the second blink. Then click however many times you want the max ramp to be below max. I click 50 times. The ramp has a maximum of 150 steps.
Awesome, thanks for the intel firelight2! Goin to take a little tinkerin, to get it dialed in. Think I’m gunna prefer anduril 2!
Wish I would’ve looked at provided program instructions sooner! I’ve been trying to program temp sensor for 45 min, based on standard anduril 2 UI. looks like lumintop put it after Beacon mode…
And that is purely your opinion. If the only Ti option is a Ti/Cu combo, I wouldn’t buy it. Ti/CU lights look like crap, ugly colored crap. And it stinks.
None of my lights get used at max ramp/turbo that long so heatsinking isn’t an issue for me because they don’t heat up that much. I buy Ti lights because I like the design and the look of it. Copper mixed in kills that look. A full Ti light will always look more classy than anything with copper. It just looks cheap.
