Once the metal is saturated there is little difference between copper and aluminium. Copper might absorb the heat faster but aluminium emits the heat faster

IF they are using the same batch as they have done in the alu versions, then it’s very nice indeed. I got the 3000k and 4000k in those, and I’ve ordered the Cu-Ti with st-20 4000k hoping for a good tint and a touch more throw

debadging goes counter to the manufacturers advertising goals
there are pros and cons, but for a fee, sometimes buying sterile is possible

in the context of the AAA Lumintop Copper Tool,
here is a story about badging and branding

the ReyLight Copper Tool came out with no Lumintop markings, only ReyLight is engraved on the head. To get that badging, Rey had to meet the MinumumOrderQuantity for a SpecialFactoryOrder of 500 units, prepaid.

Maratac has a similar deal with lumintop, for the head markings to be proprietary on their little AAA.

Next Lumintop produced The Copper Tool with Lumintop branding.

Next Massdrop met the MOQ, and sold through several thousand AAA Tools with eSwitches, that have no marking at all, they are sterile. Lumintop was denied their label, but they also denied Massdrop theirs.

I don’t mind brand markings.

One of my favorite lights currently is my Lumintop Tool Ti AA 2.0

It has branding on the gold plated brass pill. Looks good to me.

I originally thought I would swap out the driver for a Mountain FET driver for more output and a moonlight mode. But now that I’ve gotten used it, I think it’s fine as-is. Only mod I did to it is to swap the cool white XPG for a neutral white XPL HI.

Best thing about this light is the knurling. Not to aggressive on the hand or pocket, but it makes a better nail file than the knurling of any other light I own. Even the knurling on my Eagletac D25A Ti and D25C Ti pales in comparison.
