First off, THANKS FREEME !!!

Got the SD2 finally today.

With a Sofirn 21700 @4.14 v it pulled 3.01 amps.
Most decent 18650’s pull 2.70-2.75.
Can not use flat top 18650 must be button tops.

Spring in head seems thin and soft, will try bypass in coming days.
Don’t know what is holding driver in, may be pressed or maybe weird nubs to unscrew, will have to look better in daylight with more magnification.
Mine is labeled 4000K and seems to look as such.

Nice build quality especially for the price.
Yeah a lower low would be nice but all things considered it is spaced well.
Really transfers heat nice, not too quick but heats nicely.

Muto, if you place a S2+ spring (the one that comes with DIY host kit) over the existing spring, it'll hold the 18650 very well. I did that and shook it for disconnection & rattling and it passed. I just don't know how tolerant a 21700 will be before it dents.

To anyone reading this, it'd be a good idea to solder that spring in place to avoid a short.

It never arrived and BG refunded.
They do not reship because there is no stock.

Many of the orders from mid-October to the end of the year and shipped by China Post were lost. For other postal services there was no lost.
Some were not yet claimed, I claim after 90 days of shipping.
They were lost in that period alone more than during the 10 years that I have been buying in China.
There are still orders made in January, shipped by China Post, that have not yet arrived. I still do not consider them lost.
The SD3 was the first order lost in this period.
