~1600lm for SST-20 4000K

~2300lm for SST-20 5000/6500K

~1800lm for 219C 4000K (and probably 5700K too unless they’re a different flux bin)

All very rough numbers based on the tests of those LEDs here on BLF, and assuming the driver is supplying 6A.

regarding the full output of 1600lm (sst20 4k), which will produce so much heat that it’ll step down after a couple of minutes, i’ll only get a nonstop output of around 500lm (30% in mode 3)?

On a light this size, probably around there after thermal throttling kicks in. Depends on if the temp limit is set to 50C like the other recent Convoy lights or higher as well though.

Should be closer to 600lm+ from cold start since that’s 30% of power, not output and lower modes are more efficient.

That’s really good numbers compared to a over driven LED. A XPL2 would need to be at like 10amps to achieve the same output. You might be seeing around 2400 lumens without light losses?

I received my light but the switch is not working. I can activate the light and switch modes by shorting the body to the negative terminal of the battery but when put together, it is DOA. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas on a fix? I did try installing a McClicky in the tail cap and it half-way worked but not reliably. There must be a contact issue somewhere but I cleaned all the surfaces and made sure everything was assembled tightly with no luck. I just want to say that for the money, if I can get this thing working, this will be a killer light! Fit and finish are very good and the output is very impressive! I hope nobody else has any problems with theirs!

Are you able to perform a continuity test with a DMM for the tailcap alone?
