actual “lifetime” batteies? god, i bet they will know how to CHARGE for THOSE if they hit the market… lol… and? i can see ALL the cheap little devices being cemented together and just having CAST resin around them… no putting higher capcity batteries in budget items, lol…
and will drive the “chinese capacity claims” thru the roof, lol…
No mention of energy densities. We’ll just have to wait and see if the concept gets past the infant stage.
I wonder if someone has made a list of all the new daily breakthroughs, at this rate we should have nuclear fusion by the end of the week!

Research and development is great, we need more of it, but announcing new breakthrough all the time is like crying wolf.

Interesting article, it aint cold fusion and i am a big fan of not putting all of our eggs in one basket, but i suspect the future will be solar panels/grid level storage (and Tesla)
