The FW1A is the thrower version of the ever popular FW3A. The EDC 18 although very different looking, performs much like the FW3A but with a front witch.

I haven’t bought any of those lights, yet, but the EDC18 and FW1A are both appealing to me.

Been looking at the FW1A, I have both the FW3A and the FW3T and love both. Hoping on a FW1T with the 18350 tube, think that would be perfect imo.

I’m not feeling a real need for a throwier FW, but I do have an SST and Nicha EDC18. I’m not sure how it’s going to work, as I pocket carry with it tucked next to my wallet. I plan on using one of them instead of the FW3a I’ve been carrying to get a proper opinion of it.

Overall, I like it so far. If I wind up really liking it, I may glue some tritium into the side slots or experiment with inserting it into the optic.
